WHO AM I?
Student, Researcher, Writer
I moved to Austin a few years ago, after growing up in Colorado, West Texas, and Wyoming. I love reading (I even have a tattoo of Truman Capote), writing, and riding dirt bikes. I am also married to my beautiful wife Alaina, and we have two dogs-Buzz the Boxer and Olly the Shepherd.
I love living in Austin and being a student, as well as volunteering and researching. I am currently working with Encompass Home Hospice and the USDA. I am also a Lab Teaching Assistant at St. Edward's in the biology program.
WHO WILL I BE?
A Jack of All Trades
I plan to be an ER doctor and I would love to combine my passion for caring for other people with my love for writing in a book inspired by my medical career in the future. Often, students entering the medical field are not exposed to writing creatively.
I hope that by majoring in both English Writing and Rhetoric and Biology, I can be more prepared for the ever-changing world of healthcare!
